I am very excited to announce that Tuesday April 15th is the very first FILM CHOOSEDAY at MAGPIE TAPROOM! My good friend Chris Isherwood, owner/bartender at Magpie, has invited me to share my love for film and booze with the great city of Toronto and all of you beautiful people.

On the second Tuesday of every month, MAGPIE in partnership with CIVIC RELYM Myself will be screening amazing, outrageous, underrated, and unforgettable films.

Not only is Tuesday the 15th going to be the beginning of one of the most fun nights of the month but it also happens to fall on a total lunar eclipse. What better way to celebrate this than by opening up a portal to another dimension and screening the Canadian cult classic film THE GATE!!! Oh, did I mention that we are going to be offering up some crazy drink deals as well!?!? And FREE POPCORN!!!!

Immediately prior to THE GATE there will be an Audience Choice screening subtitles accompanied by a specially curated music set that can be voted by posting your choice on the event page, most votes wins. Then its time to swipe all the seats, pop some bottles and get weird.
