Invitation to a public meeting about Montgomery's Inn building projects 2017
The Inn would like to invite all its friends, supporters and members of the public to a public meeting about two Montgomery's Inn building projects that are scheduled for 2017. The Inn will have two separate building projects taking place during 2017 which aim to improve the visitor experience by refreshing the interpretation of the historic Inn (including addressing issues with the building fabric) and opening up the main entrance so that it creates a more welcoming and easy-to-navigate space. The architects have created detailed plans which have been reviewed and approved, and which offer an exciting scheme to really enhance the experience of visitors to the Inn.
The public meeting will take place in the Community Room of the Inn on December 1st, at 6:00pm. The meeting will provide more information about the restoration project and the new entrance project, including the current timetables for work and how we intend to operate the Inn around the building work. We hope that members of our community will be able to join us and learn more about these projects that balance the long-term preservation of this designated heritage site with its function as flexible venue best serving the needs of the community. Light refreshments will be served. There's no need to RSVP, but if you want to let us know you'll be attending in advance that's fine too.
