Inequality's a drag
Event details
Featuring Maylee Todd and Light Fires
Inequality’s a drag. The idea is to feature queer artists, pack a bunch of people into Lee’s Palace, get sweaty, and raise some sorely needed money. We’re thrilled to have Light Fires (fronted by Regina the GentleLady) and Maylee Todd (not drag, but queer and amazing) headlining for the event.
Also - From June 20th-29th, Oxfam is going to be hosting 9 LGBT history-makers from four continents. Whether it be Mariela Castro (Cuba- Raul’s daughter) and Iqbal Qassim (Pakistan) successfully lobbying their governments for trans rights legislations, or Yen (Vietnam) and Mojalifa (Zimbabwe) working with their country’s mainstream media to challenge homophobia, one thing is clear: we have a hell of a lot to profile and celebrate!
