On June 14 and 15, 2014, people from all over North America will be attending the largest halal food festival on the continent, Halal Food Festival 2014, at The International Centre in Mississauga.

There will be plenty of sampling showcasing various types of delectable delights to please any palate. From pasta lovers to steak connoisseurs to Thai food fanatics, there will be foods to fulfill any foodie's craving. The popular Grill Master competition hosted by Azhar Usman is not to be missed with amateur barbeque chefs competing to be Toronto's best! Ongoing live stage performances will demonstrate a variety of health related content from edible container gardening; gluten free baking and health focused mocktail demonstrations. There will be seminars on halal food and the halal food industry along with workshops throughout both festival days.

The festival is organized annually to bring the community together and provide them with the highest quality community celebration. Halal Food Fest TO generates capital to the local economy as visitors invigorate the diverse and welcoming Toronto communities. Dairy Farmers of Canada, 100% Canadian Milk and Redpath Sugar will also be onsite hosting interactive exhibits such as cheese tasting and various baking demonstrations. Since the festival attracts many young families, Chevrolet Canada will be providing information on child seat safety through their new program Safe & Sure.
