A film by Damien Gillis and Fiona Rayher
In Fractured Land, we follow Caleb Behn, a young Dene lawyer from northeastern B.C., who may become one of his generations great leaders. His father is a devout environmentalist and residential school survivor; his mother holds a senior position in the oil and gas industry. His people, at the epicenter of some of the largest natural gas fracking operations on earth, are deeply divided. Balancing the Dene's need for jobs with the sacred duty of defending their territory, Caleb has arrived at a key moment in history. What he does next could change everything.
