THE FIFTH ELEMENT is Luc Bessons 1997 sci-fi epic staring Mila Jovovich and Bruce Willis in a futuristic battle against evil. The film features an array of interesting themes and characters - from costume design to use of language, we ask - do these support or refute traditional gender roles? Is this a feminist film? We are excited to fuel a discussion on these questions and more!
