FACTORY ART PARTY
You are invited to Blank Canvases 4th semi-annual bangin art bash!
Join us in an empty Toronto warehouse at Spadina and Wellington for an old school Factory Art Party!
Dj’s, group painting, social sculpture, food, and live painting by local artist Jimmy Chiale.
Harkening that free spirit of the 1980’s art warehouse party, this unique event will be an opportunity to mix, mingle, and party whilst collaborating on a giant 100-foot group painting with local artists live painting while listening to local DJ’s spin cool beats.
Held in a now vacant warehouse space, event attendees will experience a throwback to the Toronto’s lively studio art scene in the 1980’s with an abandoned factory vibe!
Feel free to come dressed and inspired by the creative energy of this unforgettable art scene in Toronto!
Along-side the warehouse, an artistic lounge will be provided by our hosts The Line, one of Toronto's newest unique gallery/design spaces.
Here, party-goers will be able to relax in a gorgeous contemporary artistic furniture show-room - a stylish colour living room for the creative set.
Featured in the design lab gallery will be the established artist Wosene Worke Kosrof, a painter who’s work doned the runway of the Edun Fall runway at NYC’s fashion week this past March.
All proceeds will go to support Blank Canvases going into the schools in Toronto’s designated at risk neighbourhood.
Come join us on Saturday April 30th for a different sort of spin on your typical Saturday night social event and help us expand this programme so that everyone in our city can access the arts programming they deserve!
