Both of these selectors/soundmen play in the "juggling" style with the records dem and have a soft spot for the same vintage era of Reggae (although, as always, all eras will be covered throughout the night) This will create a very special evening of dancing and listening pleasure! Come early, you do not want to miss any of these selector's sets!!!

Choppa Chop has been running his sound "Big Toe's HiFi" for over a decade. With chapters in New Mexico and the UK, he has brought it back to the Toronto area respectively. With a very broad and wide knowledge of Reggae, both past and present, it makes for a very exciting and well rounded set. His love for Reggae and Dancehall is infectious and a delight!

Established in 1991, Jah International was dedicated to rub a dub, or in those days, an entertainer friendly sound. Their home was in Silver Linden (Richmond Hill ). The sound was built out of hardcore selections mostly Dennis Brown and the top singers of those times. Since then, the selector Briggadier Kingsley never stopped collecting and he found himself as a sound owner and also an apprentice to the great King Sterograph which has lasted over decade to present time. As dj, he helped to create the Lion's Den which was an inch four year run. His most memorable events are playing with Daddy Roy and King Stur Gav from Yard and Rastafest. He is currently working longside Dj Chocolate with the Gathering.

we hope to share another night with you again, to celebrate our love for Reggae music on Friday the 17th of June at our new home - The Rivoli (334 Queen st W) in the back room!
