DOC NOW Festival 2014 Screenings
This year’s DOC NOW Festival offers 11 films, grouped together into four programs. The films will be screening from 6:30 to 11 pm at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema. These films examine a range of subjects—from a daughter’s exploration of the silence surrounding her father’s death due to AIDS to an intimate portrait of an artist dealing with vision loss. After each program there will be a 20-minute question-and-answer period with the filmmakers moderated by POV’s Marc Glassman.
The DOC NOW Festival celebrates the work of established and emerging documentary practitioners from Ryerson University’s Master of Fine Arts Program in Documentary Media.
