The Assembly Theatre is having a party and you're invited!

Come celebrate Parkdale's new theatre space! We're opening our doors to the public for the first time on Sunday, August 13th so stop by and check us out. Need a venue for an upcoming production? Curious about what we have to offer? This is the perfect time to take a tour! Want to say hi to Unit 102 Actors co. and Leroy Street Theatre? Representatives from both our resident theatre companies will be around all day to welcome you to the space.

COMMUNITY WELCOME & RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY 2-4 PM

Doors will be open from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for the ribbon-cutting event and we invite you to swing by the space to say hi, partake of some refreshments. We will be happy to give you a tour, answer questions and maybe even give you a balloon animal!

EVENING CARNIVAL & CELEBRATION 7-11 PM

Want to help celebrate Toronto's newest indie theatre venue? This year our community lost some wonderful theatre spaces that helped create and support the amazing independent theatre scene we have here in the city. Let's get together and toast the turn in tide of that trend. This is a licensed event and will have a cash bar!
