What's a Variety Show?
A variety show, also known as variety arts or variety entertainment, is entertainment made up of a variety of acts hence the name, especially musical performances and sketch comedy, and is normally introduced by a master of ceremonies or host. Other types of acts include magic, animal and circus acts, acrobatics, juggling and ventriloquism. While still widespread in some parts of the world, the proliferation of multichannel television and evolving viewer tastes affected the popularity of variety shows - from Wikipedia, edited
What's a pay-as-you-go haircut?
Good question my darling. Anyone at the event will be able to have their hair cut by a professional artist. Two to choose from. The price is $1 per minute and the chair may or may-not be on stage.
Costumes welcome. No dogs please. Must wear shoes or at least fancy socks. Hats ok. The door person will be checking ID if you say it's your birthday. No being mean. Shouting at the host is encouraged, especially if it's Jordan. All photos must be taken from the stage. If anyone says the words 'Bird of Prey' into the microphone it's appropriate to snap your fingers or lightly make the sound of an owl.
