A Taste of Cabbagetown
Cabbagetown is a community beaming with history, yet does not frantically cling onto tradition. We instead embrace the changes happening and try to fuse them with our culture. The streets are filled with old historic architecture to admire, but we are also proud to have some of the newest, hippest stores in Toronto. On our tour, we will be stopping at huge variety of restaurants, including pubs, a smoke house, Indian cuisine, and deli shops. We will also be visiting some of the oldest establishments of Cabbagetown, like a 150 year old church and the 30 year old Epicure Shop, as well as some of the newest, such as Grinning Face non-dairy gelato, which opened only a couple months ago.
