Actress says she was choked and beaten by Ghomeshi

Following up on tonight's CBC interview where a woman alleges she was attacked by former CBC radio host Jian Ghomeshi as well as a petition condemning Ghomeshi signed by a who's who of Canadian musicians, the Toronto Star has just published an article in which actress Lucy DeCoutere, "Lucy on Trailer Park Boys", says Ghomeshi choked and beat her.

According to The Star DeCoutere told them of an "incident in 2003 when she alleges Ghomeshi, without warning or consent, choked her to the point she could not breathe and then slapped her hard three times on the side of her head."

According to The Star, DeCoutere is one of now eight women who allege abuse at the hands of Ghomeshi. Read the full account here including details and timelines about the other alleged victims.
