Wizardry Mixed with Buddhism

There was plenty of sweaty spell-casting last night at Smiling Buddha on College.

The Wizard of Rock, two mins. in his set, endured an overblown fuse that shut his equipment from the dark ages down. But he picked up his heels -- and robe for that matter -- and rocked the house, blaring, "Where are my fat-ass witches?"

Accompanied by the lovely and talented Human Kebab and smooth-operating MC Sean Ward, also known as the force behind the Sean Ward Comics Electric Freak Out! , these are all guys you should keep your eye on for the next while.

Quirky, fun and vulgar, these three MCs combine the perfect cuts of prime oldschool hip-hop with new-fashioned rock 'n' roll. That's to put it lightly.

Ain't anything else like it in the city right now.
