White Collar Boxing Auditions
Hi. My name is Lita Mae Button. I have been boxing for over 16 yrs, with 45 amateur fights and 2 professional. My background is in nursing and I am now coaching full time. With my passion for boxing and helping others, in 2018 I began a White Collar Boxing Fundraising Event. This event includes a 12 week training camp designed for beginner to intermediate boxers.
We are now in the 2020 planning stages for On The Button Club Promotions 3rd Annual White Collar Fundraising Event.
What does that mean? Well, we are looking for 12 Women and 12 Men who would like to participate in a 12 Week training camp learning boxing and then be featured as the main event event in May 2020. 100 % of The May 2020 (exact event date to be announced) proceeds will go towards the East York Rotary Club.
In 12 weeks if you want to become leaner, stronger, faster, more powerful and learn how to overcome obstacles, while fighting for a charitable cause? Then this 12 week training camp has your name on it!
This is what one of last years boxers had to say about the experience of On The Button Club promotions training camp.
“Hi I am Devon. I am 44 years old and am a hairstylist and teacher.
I began training with Lita Mae approximately a year ago, I began with her boot camp classes with a goal of getting back into shape, building my confidence up and of course have some fun while at it! Her approach to training and motivation is amazing! I felt welcomed and completely comfortable from day one! She is very accommodating and supportive.
Not long after beginning my training, I agreed to start her 12 week boxing camp, it was the best decision I made! The training was intense and extremely rewarding! I saw results quickly as well as building stamina, and major confidence in myself! The group of ladies were incredible and have become very close friends!
I have continued with the boot camp training, and have seen many changes in my body as well as my day to day life! I would recommend Lita Mae and her variety of classes to any one looking to empower themselves, challenge themselves, build strength physically and mentally, and have a blast doing it!”
2018 and 2019 events where so much fun with the ladies only, that we have had men asking to participate. So this year we are excited to share that our mens side will be coached by Neelan Hordatt.
This is what one of Neelan’s clients has to say about his coaching.
“Neelan isn’t just a Muay Thai world champion. I’ve been doing martial arts since 5 years old and have been to many gyms and trained under numerous trainers. When I transitioned to Muay Thai and first met Neelan I understood right away that thats the coach I'm going to stick with. The most important aspect a trainer can provide is progressive self discovery. He has successfully mentored me while allowing me to develop my own style and experience everything in my own way. Although I work full time at a tire shop having almost no time to train, he adapted to my schedule and gave me the opportunity to do what I love to do. Within a year we successfully won provincial and national tournaments. Neelan is an outstanding coach, but he's even a better person. Highly suggest Toronto Striking Academy no matter what age, gender or goal.”
