SERPENTINE PAVILION COMES TO LIFE IN TORONTO TO HOUSE UNZIPPED

Unzipped, an iconic exhibition celebrating artistry and city-building:

Luxury development firm and emerging culture company, Westbank, and Danish architecture firm, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), have reconstructed the iconic 2016 Serpentine Pavilion in downtown Toronto, at King and Brant Streets. In Toronto, the Pavilion — made of 1802 stacked fibreglass ‘bricks’ and which stands 14 metres (46 feet) tall at its apex, 27 metres (88.5 feet) long and 12 metres (39 feet) wide — will play host to Unzipped, Westbank’s newest exhibition.

Unzipped will showcase an intimate collaboration between developer and architect, where every element of design is considered in relation to its site, environment and the city in which it will stand. Experience the iconic architectural commission at no cost at 533 King Street West for a limited time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from September 15, 2018 to November 30, 2018.
