Intro to User Interface Design Workshop

In this workshop, students will become familiar with the term “User Interface” and the type of projects and processes it encompasses. They will learn the history of UI design, emerging trends and design patterns, as well as how user interfaces tie into the lifecycle of a digital product. The workshop will go through in depth the comprehensive design cycle of user interfaces, such as requirement definitions, wireframe, and prototype. Lastly, the course will conclude with a wireframing activity in which students will learn how to critique and redefine common UI patterns through functionality and aesthetic analysis.
