Celebration of Life Memorial Service
The Coffin Factory Studios
Saturday, March 23rd, 2019
3pm-5pm

Tenants of the Coffin Factory Studios are holding a Celebration of Life for the Coffin Factory Building. This historical building has been home to artists in Toronto for over the past 58 years.

The memorial will be held in the back parking lot of the building,
at 9 Tecumseth Ave. starting at 3pm.

Service starts at 3:30pm, followed by a small procession around the building where we will carry a casket time-capsule to a gallery space at 91 Niagara st. followed by small reception in gallery.
Tenants and neighbours are invited to submit tokens and memorials into the time-capsule and candle vigil.

We encourage those attending to dress as you would for a funeral.

At 7pm, there will be a wake held with musical performances as well as open art studios on the second floor of 9 Tecumseth Ave.

Tenants of the Coffin Factory Studios are also hosting a series of small events and Open Studios for a rare and last time opportunity to show their studios and artwork.
