Last week, we lost another musical icon.
Ric Ocasek, the creative force behind The Cars, died at 75.
He wrote songs that helped define a generation.
From 'Just What I Needed' and 'My Best Friend's Girl', to 'Drive', 'Magic' and 'Hello Again', these guys were chock full of great tunes, because Ric Ocasek was a brilliant pop songwriter.
The Cars were hugely popular, but remained effortlessly cool.
They were simply a great band. He will be missed.
RIP Ric.
