Bloor Toronto Skyline

A glimpse at the Yonge and Bloor skyline in 2015

For the last little while, we've featured quite a few posts that look back at Toronto over the years - so why not the opposite as well? A forum member over at Urban Toronto recently overlaid renderings of planned construction around Yonge and Bloor on a contemporary photograph of the area. With numerous 40+ storey buildings on the way, the skyline is set to change in a major way.

Here's a few that are seen above, as listed by the creator of the image: "609 Sherbourne (rough guess), X2 (X is hidden behind 403 Bloor), 403 Bloor Street East, Couture, Chaz, As a place holder I put in CASA II for 42 Charles Street East at approx. 220 Meters, U Condos II and I, One Bloor Street East, Cumberland Terrace I and II, Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, Milan Residences, the Florian (look close there is only a sliver of it.) and Yorkville Residences."

Render by Traynor based on a photo by androiduk. For more info, and to see the "before" photo, check out the original thread. And for more on the building projects, check out this previous post.
