A Toronto museum is lighting up this month with an awe-inspiring light and projection display that will completely transform its facade.

Celebrating the Aga Khan Museum's 10th anniversary, Light Up The Dark is back for another year of illuminating the already stunning museum with a selection of projection works from a eleven wickedly talented students and graduates from OCADU's Experimental Animation program.

From 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 27 to 29, the front facade of the museum will be illuminated with an array of presentations, ranging from digital compositions to stop-motion sequences, but the experience doesn't stop there.

This year, in honour of the museum's anniversary, you'll also be able to catch live music performances by Toronto-based talent at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on all three nights of the exhibition, taking place in the museum atrium, alongside warm beverages and bites from Diwan.

During the exhibits run, visitors to the museum can also get discounted admission to the Light: Visionary Perspectives exhibit, which features a number of fascinating installations that explore the use of light, for just $10, on top of a number of art workshops in the Education Centre which can be attended for an extra fee of $15.

If you find yourself fatigued by the same-old festive light displays once Christmas has come and gone but still love the feeling of being dazzled by grand displays that break up the darkness of a winter night, this could quite possibly be the ticket for you.
