NBA All-Star Weekend parties and events in Toronto

NBA All-Star parties in Toronto go hand in hand with the big game. While details about the more exclusive events remain hush hush - there's been rumblings about a Bridle Path party being hosted by Lebron and Drake and a bash being thrown by Dr. Dre at Andrew Richard's - there's plenty of ticketed soirees and pop-ups that you can get into without even bribing a bouncer.

Here's a roundup of parties and events happening during NBA All-Star weekend in Toronto.

SNEAKERS

SNKRS XPRESS (Feb. 11-14)
Nike+ members will be able to board a souped up streetcar that's been converted into a mobile sneaker store from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. this weekend (you must book your spot in advance). The SNKRS XPRESS station will be located at 277 Queen Street West.

Dwyane Wade All-Star Sneaker Launch at Ugly Dukling (Feb. 12)
NBA All-Star Dwayne Wade will hit Ugly Dukling on Friday to introduce his shoe line Way of Wade to the country. He'll also be showcasing his newest pair: the Li-Ning Way of Wade 4 All Star sneaker.

The Ultimate Sneaker Show (Feb. 13)
99 Sudbury will be taken over by The Ultimate Sneaker Show on the 13th. The event will showcase the latest and greatest sneakers, apparel, accessories and art.

NBA All-Star Livestock Pop-Up Shop (ongoing)
For two weeks Livestock will be running a Nike pop-up out of its Spadina shop. The event will highlight the newest Air Force 1 and includes Flynit inspired displays, tech knit apparel wall displays, custom light boxes, a custom city scape of Toronto and more.

Adidas Exclucity Pop-Up Shop (ongoing)
Adidas is taking over the space above Exclucity for the next few months, kicking off on February 12. The shop will showcase the newest merch from the brand and will feature special pieces in honour of All-Star Weekend.

SHOWS

Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star Comedy Jam (Feb. 12)
Basketball's resident funnyman is hitting the Sony Centre on Friday for a comedy show featuring Michael Blackson, Bill Bellamy, Earthquake, Tony Roberts and LaVar Walker.

Space Jam Live Read (Feb. 13)
In honour of Space Jam's 20th anniversary (do you feel old, yet?), TIFF is hosting a live read of the Michael Jordan/Looney Toons classic. Readers are TBA.

DINING

Dinner with Matt Bonner and Friends (Feb. 11)
Matt Bonner of the San Antonio Spurs is hosting a dinner party at the Drake One Fifty. Tickets go for $200, but some of the proceeds to The Stop Community Food Centre.

Celebrity All Star Leadership Social & Power Lunch W/ Dr. Shaquille O'neal (Feb. 11)
On Friday, Shaq, Olympic gold medalist Donovan Bailey, CFL Hall of Famer Michael Clemons and soccer great Dwayne De Rosario will congregate for a leadership social and power lunch at the Design Exchange.

Good Company All-Star Brunch & Day Party (Feb. 14)
Director X, known for directing music videos for mega stars like Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber and Drake (of course), is hosting a brunch and party in collaboration with Moet & Chandon at Brassaii on Sunday.

SPORTS

NBA All-Star Celebrity Game (Feb. 12)
Kevin Hart and Drake will coach opposing teams at the Ricoh Colosseum on Friday. If youe ever wanted to see JosĂŠ Bautista, Win Butler, The Property Brothers, Jason Sudeikis and Nick Cannon play ball, now's your chance.

BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge (Feb. 12)
See how the top rookies and sophomores in the league fare on the court at the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge at the ACC on Friday.

NBA Centre Court (Feb. 12-14)
Head to the Enercare Centre to get in on one of the largest events of the weekend. NBA Centre Court will offer a series of activities, skills competitions and programming on over 40 courts. There will also be meet and greets and instructional clinics run by current and former players.

NBA All-Star Practice (Feb. 13)
See the players warm-up for Sunday's event at the NBA All-Star Practice at Ricoh Coliseum on the 13th. After the All-Star squad is finished on the court, catch the NBA D-League All-Star Game.

Dwayne Wade's All Star Bowling Classic (Feb. 13)
Dwayne Wade and former Toronto Raptor Chris Bosh will be hosting a bowling party at The Ballroom this Saturday. Proceeds go to the Sandals Foundation, the Wade's World Foundation, ONEXONE and Game/Changer.

State Farm All-Star Saturday Night (Feb. 13)
The State Farm All-Star Saturday Night will happen the night before the big game and feature four events: Degree Shooting Stars, the Taco Bell skills challenge, the Foot Locker three-point contest and the Sprite slam dunk competition.

NBA All-Star Game (Feb. 14)
The 65th NBA All-Star Game is happening on Sunday evening at the ACC. Unfortunately, the event sold out in a flash, so you'll fork out huge bucks if you want to get a pair of ducats from a scalper.

PARTY VENUES

True North (Feb. 12-14)
True North, a stage in Roundhouse Park, will play host to "the hottest private parties and events of NBA All-Star 2016." Snoop Dogg (AKA DJ Snoopadelic), Gwen Stefani, and Usher are all slated to perform over the course of the weekend.

NEST (Feb. 11-14)
The Little Italy club will be throwing a series of star-studded parties over NBA All-Star Weekend. Hosts include Amber Rose, Andrew Wiggins, Fabolous and Jeezy (among others).

Thompson Hotel (Feb. 11-14)
The Thompson will be one of the hottest spots for parties on All-Star Weekend, but good luck getting into them. Aside from the lavish parties expected to hit the hotel, its rooftop lounge will be converted into a VIP players lounge where the brightest stars can mingle amongst themselves.

La Vie Complex (Feb. 11-14)
La Vie Complex is hosting a series of ticketed events over the course of the weekend. Travis Scott, Escoboomin, Amber Rose, A-Trak and yet-to-be-named NBA players and celeb guests will be in attendance.

PARTIES

Maxim All-Star Party (Feb. 12)
Muzik is hosting Maxim's big bash on Friday. If you can snag a ticket, you'll get to see Shaq, Snoop Dogg, Kardinal Offishall and possibly a few of their celeb friends.

Alt Star Party (Feb. 12)
Matt Bonner and his brother Luke are taking over Lee's Palace for the Alt Star Party. Girl Talk is headlining and you can expect plenty of special guest appearances.

Celebrity Game Afterparty (Feb. 12)
After the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game wraps on Friday, Kevin Hart and some of his A-list pals will move over to Roy Thompson Hall to party the night away. The guest list is TBA but it's a safe bet that you'll see some of the players (fingers crossed that Jason Sudeikis and Drake make it over).

NBA All-Star House Party (Feb. 13)
If you're not a fan of the club scene, NBA All-Star House Party is a solid option. A private residence has been rented out in honour of the big game and will be transformed into an entertainment hub for one evening. Expect slam dunk contests, DJs, top notch eats and more.

The All-Star Celebrity Party (Feb. 14)
Close out the weekend by celebrating the results of the big game with Tory Lanez and 2 Chainz at the Queen Elizabeth Building.
