Navigate the Streets this Weekend

Urban race Navigate the Streets is taking place this Saturday in downtown Toronto. It's part of a new breed of active events that have sprouted up in the last few years, in part catering to the reality TV generation as well as those who just aren't up for running in a traditional race like this Sunday's Waterfront Marathon.

This is the third year the race is being held in Toronto. The object of the game is to solve clues that lead to checkpoints around the city. Past clues from Toronto and photos from the Vancouver race held in August can be found on the event blog.

It's not too late to register. And part of the proceeds can be directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Toronto. iPod Nanos and prize packs from M-One-11 up for grabs.

Watch for cellphone and camera wielding teams running around TO between Dufferin, Lakeshore, Parliament and Bloor this Saturday.
