Back of House
Back of House is a new brunch and sandwich spot taking over the River Rock Cafe space in Leslieville. Chef and owner Charlie trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa, and locals have been raving over his pork belly, sous-vide eggs and kale breakfast. (They are big fans of the sous-vide technique here.) All the meat comes from Rowe Farms and is butchered in-house. With an open kitchen, rustic wood tables and local art on the walls from Kryart Studio , this could be cool place to go for dinner someday. A liquor license is in the works, as is a patio.
