The Cobra Snake Dance Party with Heartsrevolution at Wrongbar

Mark The Cobra Snake might be the best known party photographer. He has reached celebrity status by taking pictures of his high roller friends as well as an assortment of cool cats in LA and around the globe.

On Thursday May 1st, he'll be in Toronto hosting with local promoters Dopplehertz, an uber-hipster dance party featuring Heartzrevolution at Wrongbar.

If you haven't heard of Heartrevolution and you like Crystal Castles, you should definitely check them out.

Heartsrevolution is Leyla Safai and Ben Pollock, a boy-girl electro duo from LA (now living in NY). The band got its start at Heartchallenger , an awesome ice cream truck cum kitsch store meets travelling soundsystem thingy. Rolling the streets of LA, Miami, New York and beyond, their mission is to spread fun, magic and tooth decay disco-punk.

They have self released a limited edition vinyl for the single C.Y.O.A. and Choose Your Own Adventure, which earned them big respect and a bigger fan base. It's also probably going to be one of the most remixed songs of 07/08.

C.Y.O.A. was part of a split single with like-minded synth noisemakers Crystal Castles and it was released in a cool glow-in-the-dark and heart shaped vinyl.

I love the video for C.Y.O.A. directed by Handz TV's Jean Demery and Bastien Lattanzio. Check it out. But watch out because it's a little bit addictive. I think I've watched it at least 20 times.
