TIFF 2013 award winners

The TIFF 2013 awards were announced today at a brunch reception at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre. Leading up to the announcement all bets were that 12 Years a Slave would pick up the much-coveted People's Choice Award. Did it deliver the goods? Or did a darkhorse steal the spotlight.

View our roundup of the TIFF 2013 award winners here.

As is annual TIFF tradition, The People's Choice winner will screen at 6pm today at the Ryerson Cinema. Tickets are free-of-charge and will be available on a first come basis.
