Bloor Cinema Closed Renovations

Bloor Cinema to close for the summer

Summer movie-goers won't be able to enjoy the dark confines of the Bloor Cinema this season, as the theatre has just announced that it'll be closed for renovations until sometime this fall. A brief and slightly vague notice was posted on their website, which indicates that further details will be available in a month's time.

"The Bloor Cinema is closing for renovations on June 30th. The plan is to reopen this fall in time for many of our fan favourite events including Doc Soup and Toronto After Dark Film Festival. A more detailed announcement will be made on or about July 1st regarding the scope of the renovations and the re-opening. Membership cards will no longer be available for the remainder of the month."

Information regarding membership cards is also outlined on the website. We'll have more details as they become available.
