Slick time-lapse sequence provides comparison of Toronto with other cities
Further to discussion about how Toronto's skyline stacks up against other cities around the world, this slick time-lapse video I found earlier today provides an interesting comparison of Toronto, Montreal, Chicago and New York (there's also a few shots of Quebec City). That's not really the point of the sequence â which creator Dominic Boudreault states is "to show the duality between city and nature," whatever that means â but with so many skyline shots, it's tough not to measure the cities against one another, even if the exercise is mostly just a time waster.
Unfortunately the shots of Toronto could be more plentiful (there's only three or four in total), but it's still worth a share on account of how well put together the whole thing is. According to Boudreault it took over a year to produce on account of the travel and all the processing. The score by Hans Zimmer might be a bit over the top, but I have to admit it all kind of works. If cinematic time-lapses are your type of thing, this'll make you happy.
