Festival Centre Construction Underway

It's official. The much hyped, much talked about building project in the city has just started construction. The $129-million Festival Centre, conveniently located at the corner of King and John, will be according to Piers Handling, "a state-of-the-art structure filled with filmmakers, cinephiles, children, educators, arts enthusiasts, international tourists, and the best programming in the world".

And you know, this is really exciting and all, but what really made my day... was hearing about the recent "semi-official" announcement of the other Ivan Reitman project — you know what I'm talking about — Ghostbusters 3! So now the race is on, which one will be completed first? Festival Centre or Ghostbuster 3?
