The One Minute Film & Video Festival's big secret

Shhhh... have you been secretly nursing an urge to make a movie? The One Minute Film & Video Festival prides itself on getting filmmakers off their butts to actually make films, by easing the process in two ways:

  • Telling you how long to make your film

  • Telling you what to make your film about!

The fest has revealed the theme for the 2007 call for submissions: secrets. Filmmakers are being asked to interpret the theme in any manner they wish, so long as the final product is exactly a minute long.

Additional details are sketchy on their web site for the time being, but if you're yearning to make a film for next year's show, you already have everything you need: a time limit, and a subject. Get cracking!
