Hispano-American Film Festival

And the Film Festival circuit doesn't end ...

Aside from the Inside Out Film Festival going on, the Hispano-American Film Festival just had their kickoff this past Thursday at the Distillery's Canteen. Guests were treated to 12 tables of wine tasting from all over the world including Australia, Chile, Spain as well as some homegrowns from Ontario, PEI and BC. Also served were barbecued lamb chops and ribs, seafood chowder and fresh oysters. Ok, enough about the culinary delights.

The 8th Hispano-American Film festival showcases and unites the brightest cinematic talents from Latin America and Europe, especially Spain. It runs from May 19-29 at the Bloor Cinema. Check the website for more details. I'll be going back for more wine ... and you should too!
