Get Your Giggle On!

Few things in life are better than having a fun-filled evening with your friends - laughing, eating chicken wings and sharing a pitcher. Tonight, Giggleshorts offers you that perfect opportunity! "The Best of Giggleshorts" is a compilation of the funniest independent short films, which range from one to fifteen minutes in duration.
Professional animations, skits featuring Samuel L Jackson, commercials, college projects, Canadian humour and submissions from overseas can all be seen here for just $6. You won't be disappointed! Afterwards everyone will be heading over to the Firkin Pub for some drinks and film buff banter.

The films will be shown at the comfortable, new, high-tech National Film Board Centre at 150 John Street (at Richmond). The Giggleshorts series will be playing here every second Thursday and starting in March they will have live onstage interviews with filmmakers in a special "Show us your shorts" series which will be taped for the Giggleshorts TV show. The show airs on Movieola, the short film channel.
