Camera Bar Debuts $5 Tuesdays

This Tuesday Camera Bar knocks fifty percent off the price of a movie ticket. It's nice to see that things at Toronto's excellent new indie art-film theatre/lounge are progressing well. Not that their regular price of $10 is steep compared to mainstream theatres. I wonder if weekend matinees are next on the agenda?

Having checked out their screening of Avi Lewis' and Naomi Klein's excellent doc The Take, I can attest that Atom Egoyan's creation is arguably the best place in the city to watch a film. Not sure if I'll make it to see Red Lights this Tuesday but I'll definitely try to catch Shake Hands with the Devil in mid-Feb.

Camera Bar, 1028 Queen St West (At Ossington). 416-530-0011
