1998 prices in 2005?

Well, well, well, movie theatres... been a little lonely for the last few years since you've hiked the price of admission to an incomprehensible sum? I don't know about you, but I've opted to rent DVDs over going to the movie theatre more than a handful of times this year alone.

Luckily, the theatres have felt our cold shoulder, and Famous Players has announced that their admission price is gonna drop down to $9.95, from $13.95 starting on Friday! You can read more about it here. My #1 "non-cinema" theatre of choice is the Paramount on 259 Richmond Street West. It's huge, plush, candy-coloured and perfect for mindless Sundays with a bunch of friends. And now with the extra 4 bucks, I can finally afford that scrumptious kool-aid slushy to go with my popcorn!
