OPENINGS & CLOSINGS

• Waxon Waxbar Opens. Wax bars are popping up around Toronto faster than unwanted stubble. Waxon is set to open in April and offer quick, comfortable (well, as comfortable as waxing can be), and affordable waxing services for men and women. They use all-natural hard wax - no more wax strips from hell - and offer "bar tabs" for frequent customers.

• Chasse GardĂŠe Closes. Independent local boutique, Chasee GardĂŠe ("hunting ground") will close its doors on March 30th after almost four years of business. They invite loyal customers and late-to-the-dance first timers alike to pop by, say goodbye, and get between 50 and 80 per cent off everything in store. Brands include Dries Van Noten, Jeffrey Campbell, Label, and Swedish Hasbeens.

• Fitrzroy Boutique Pop-Up Shop. The seasonal pop-up shop is back from March 24 to April 1. Fitzroy Boutique offers a selection of quality independent labels, mostly from L.A. and Australia. • StyleDemocracy Pop-Up Shop
  This men's designer pop-up shop will include spring/summer looks by labels like Robert Graham, Napapijri, and John Varvatos. March 28 to April 1, 533 College Street West.
