The most unique way to celebrate New Year's Eve...with a 5km run or walk at midnite, of course!

December 31st, 2015 marks the 5th anniversary of this cool and different New Year's Eve experience, and you don't have to be a seasoned marathoner to participate. Anyone can manage the flat, and yes, dark 5km route that is safe and free from traffic in and around LIberty Village.

There are indoor pre and post area(s) to stay warm, and all participants get a goodie bag, runner's toque or gloves, a finishers' medal and post event glass of champagne, Steamwistle Beer and hot food. The party continues afterwards until 3am for those who get warmed up after midnite! The 5km route is also accurate and chip timed with fireworks on the course.

It's an all ages event but kids under 18 cannot be in certain areas where alcohol is available.
