Babylon Telecom Presents Superliminal Sound

ABSTRACT: [ John Kameel Farah and MN-L will perform live at an ambient organic/electronic
night called Superliminal Sound, which will also feature DJing and live effects by
Babylon Telecom. The show will be hosted at Toronto's IV Lounge on Wednesday, 14 May
2008. The doors will open at 9:00 PM, and admission will be "pay what you can". ]
CONTENT: [ We at Babylon Telecom, in partnership with our good friends at IV Lounge, are
excited to bring you a brand new evening entitled Superliminal Sound!! The first in what
will hopefully become a series of life-changing nights will feature live performances by
John Kameel Farah and MN-L, as well as DJ sets and live dub effects presented by Babylon
Telecom. Join us on Wednesday, 14 May 2008 and be a part of it!!
John Kameel Farah is an experimental breakbeat baroque jazz fusion artist based in
Toronto. He recently returned to town following a successful and memorable European tour.
He performed with Babylon Telecom at our live debut in March, where he completely stole
the show and made us look like a bunch of amateurs. MN-L, another local boy, combines
digital loops and effects with some impressive live guitar work. He landed on the map in
2004 with his debut release, "Marathon Hangout," which can currently be downloaded for
free via his website.
Superliminal Sound is sure to provide you, the club goer, with great music at a great
venue with a great atmosphere!! We have strenuously calculated the perfect amount of
mellow for an intimate Wednesday evening, and can assure you that such an amount will be
yours to enjoy. We are very excited to be in the company of two of our favourite live
performers, and we know you will be too!! ]
