filipino mojito bar toronto

Toronto is getting Canada's first Filipino mojito bar

Bloordale residents were undoubtedly sad to see the longstanding Whippoorwill Restaurant and Tavern closed last month. However, co-owners Shawn Creamer and Tyler Cunningham promised something cool would be replacing it. And indeed, the incoming restaurant sounds pretty unique.

Called Dolly's, this newfangled spot will be a Filipino mojito bar. The Playa Cabana team is behind it, and this local restaurant group is no stranger to fusion concepts and food (think Barrio Coreano
in Koreatown).

Details for this new eatery and watering hole remain sparse, but there's already signage up on the storefront at 1285 Bloor St. W. You can expect Dolly's to open some time next month.
