Craigslist ad seeks sarcastic and combative astroturfers

In case you failed to notice the federal election campaign churning into full gear, an ad posted to Toronto's job listings on Craigslist today should serve as a timely and slightly depressing reminder of what the next month has in store for us all. First discovered by Mondoville, the ad is nothing if not explicit about the unnamed company's astroturfing aims. My favourite part? "Ideally you can find or make up facts and statistics to stir controversy. Where suited humour, sarcasm and personal insults are welcome."

Who knows if the ad is legitimate or not, but I'd suggest that a few of our Street Style commenters might want to look into this. The full listing, which has now been flagged, is posted below.
