Earlier today, Tibetan Canadians gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Toronto to begin a hunger strike in support of their family, friends and others native to Tibet. Recent civil dissent in Tibet has refocused the international spotlight on the region.

OK, well...Bush may be an idiot, but this was just up on MSNBC, so maybe something will happn to stem or even stop the vviolence against Tibet...I know I may be too hopeful for any real effect...but..
