Mayor Miller Blasts the Gardiner

The Gardiner Expressway's ongoing woes came to an abrupt end yesterday evening when in complete disregard of customary legal procedures, Mayor David Miller bypassed city council plans and instead fired cannons at it. ;)

Kudos to ERA Architects, Spacing Magazine, and Murmur for throwing a great party last night at historic Fort York. "Toronto the Good" was far better than good. The photo slideshow, art and interactive city map, music, and the drinks, food, and great conversation made for a fun-filled night out. I'm sure I wasn't alone this morning in having to fend off a slight "hangover the bad".
