Flickr Forum: August 29th, 2008 - Busker Festival
The blogTO Flickr Forum is a weekly sampling of themed photographs taken by Torontonians and aims to not only feature the talent they possess, but also spur dialogue and reveal the stories behind the images.

Today's collection of Toronto photographs is made up of responses to our call for photos that fit the theme "Buskerfest". These images were all recently submitted to the blogTO Flickr pool.

To the photographers: we'd love to hear about your photos. A little info on where it was taken and the story behind the photo is always a great start.

To the rest of you, feel free to ask questions to the artists, submit photos to the blogTO Flickr pool for next week's consideration, or just sit back and enjoy our weekly mosaic.

This week's Flickr Forum theme is "Taste of the Danforth". Picking were slim this week. It's not surprising that with all the rain we got last weekend, that many of you chose not to bring your cameras out to the event. Or maybe you were all just a little preoccupied with that little explosion.

Links and next week's theme after the break.

Flickr Forum: August 8th, 2008 - CyclingWelcome back to another week in the blogTO Flickr Pool. This week's theme is "Cycling", and we had some great submissions!

I probably should have gone with Caribana, but I forgot it was last weekend. My bad. Or 8, as Flickr is promoting for 08/08/08. Feel free to remind me of upcoming events you'll be shooting in the comments and on blogTO Flickr discussion board.

Kyle Fleming's Oneliners
I'm lucky if I can draw a straight line with an Etch-A-Sketche; what Kyle does with one is mind blowing!

I first saw Kyle's work on MTV Canada on a recommendation from a friend, and have been dying to see his work up close ever since. Lucky for us, Kyle's doing a show at Solferino starting with a reception on Friday, and running through September.
