Introducing the Photo of the Week contest
One of the features we introduced with our site redesign a few months back is the photo of the day, which highlights the work of the many talented photographers in the blogTO Flickr pool. Located at the bottom of the main page, these photos capture various aspects of life in Toronto, be it in an artistic or journalist capacity (or, as is often the case, a bit of both).
And now, thanks to sponsorship from Posterjack, we can reward the best of these photos in a weekly reader-voted contest.
Here's how it works:
As usual, the editorial staff will select the photos of the day and publish them on the site. On Sundays, each photo of the day will be collected in a gallery post on the main page. This post will have a poll at the bottom, which will allow readers to vote for the photo that they like best.
After the votes are tabulated Monday morning, the winner will receive a 24"x36" poster print of their winning photo from Posterjack!
So keep uploading your photographs of the city to the blogTO Flickr pool. The more you shoot, the better chance you have at winning the Photo of the Week along with a big poster of your winning shot!
For a look at the full contest rules and instructions on submitting your photos to Posterjack, please visit this post on our Flickr page.
