Toronto is getting a new aerospace school

So, you're a rocket scientist? While that might not have impressed Shania Twain, Toronto seems pretty enamoured with the aerospace industry. That's probably why the provincial and federal governments are ponying up more than $44 million to help Centennial College open a new campus dedicated aerospace-related programs.

According to the Canadian Press, the provincial government is giving Centennial $25.8 million and the government of Canada is providing $18.4 million.

This new school, or the Centennial College Downsview Park Aerospace Campus, will feature three separate aerospace and aviation programs and will cater to about 900 students. And as the Canadian Press notes, 14 out of 25 of the world's top aerospace companies call Ontario home.
