WEDNESDAY APRIL 6 / NAT BALDWIN / DOUBLE DOUBLE LAND / 209 AUGUSTA AVE / $8 / ALL AGES
Nat Baldwin - best known as a member of indie band Dirty Projectors - returns with a new album People Changes (May 24th). Seeming more like a combatant the way he strikes his bass with its bow, Baldwin grips his audience in silence with fierce, bottomless flourishes. Toronto's Picastro, Tradition and Isla Craig join Baldwin at Double Double Land on Wednesday night.

THURSDAY APRIL 7 / CUT COPY / SOUND ACADEMY / 11 POLSON ST / $31.50 / ALL AGES
Thursday looks to be a busy night in Toronto: Toro y Moi and Braids and PS I Love You and Matters (ex-The D'Urbervilles) play at Wrongbar and The Garrison respectively. Meanwhile, Melbourne, Australia's Cut Copy is also in town, playing at Sound Academy in support of their third LP Zonoscope with Holy Ghost! set to open.

FRIDAY APRIL 8 / YUKON BLONDE / HORSESHOE TAVERN / 370 QUEEN ST W / $10 / 19+
After releasing their fourth studio album Creep On Creepin' On Tuesday, Timber Timbre plays a sold-out show at Trinity St. Paul's Church. But if you are unable to grab tickets for the Timber Timbre show, then be sure to check out Vancouver-based Yukon Blonde at Horseshoe Tavern, who will play their catchy tracks "Wind Blows" and "Babies Don't like Blues Anymore" from their self-titled album last year. Locals Megan Bonnell and The Paint Movement join the line-up.

SATURDAY APRIL 9 / FUCKED UP / TORONTO UNDERGROUND CINEMA / 186 SPADINA AVE / $12 / 19+
While we wait for Fucked Up's new album David Comes to Life to come out on June 7th, Wavelength is proud to announce that they have recruited the band to perform an original live score to the classic Tod Browning film West of Zanzibar as part of this year's Images Festival. Be sure to grab tickets before they go!

SATURDAY APRIL 9 / WYE OAK / EL MOCAMBO / 464 SPADINA AVE / $10.50 / 19+
Baltimore duo Wye Oak's third album Civilian is one of this year's highly-anticipated albums. Being compared to the likes of Cocteau Twins and Sonic Youth, guitarist and vocalist Jenn Wasner and drummer Andy Stack justify their hype with strong live performances. It's no wonder that Merge Records picked them up! Check out Wye Oak, along with Brooklyn's Callers at El Mocambo Saturday night.

TUESDAY APRIL 12 / SHARON VAN ETTERN / THE DRAKE HOTEL / 1150 QUEEN ST W / $12.50 / 19+
The Drake Hotel welcomes Sharon Van Etten to Toronto. The singer-songwriter commands her audience's attention the moment she gets on-stage, and then hypnotizes them with heart-wrenching songs - a mix of folk and soul. Picastro opens for Sharon Van Etten, who plays in support of her last record Epic (2010).
