CONSTANTINES celebrate their tenth birthday with a pair of shows this weekend at Lee's Palace. They'll be joined by different support acts each night, with ATTACK IN BLACK and JOHN K. They saved a third date for later in the month, where they will be joined by JULIE DOIRON and LADYHAWK.

Psych-rockers ONEIDA will stop by Sonic Boom for a mid-afternoon in-store session. The Brooklyn quartet celebrated their tenth anniversary a few years ago, and will also be helping their friends the CONSTANTINES commemorate their anniversary on Saturday night at Lee's. ONEIDA are currently touring in support of Rated O, released by burgeoning indie label Jagjaguwar, where the band have launched their own imprint Brah Records. As always, the performance is free but a donation of a non-perishable food item is encouraged.

Canadian post-rockers DO MAKE SAY THINK celebrate the release of Outer Truths, a four-song, forty-two minute album filled with ambitious build-ups that sees the band further explore the realm of avant-garde jazz. DMST and BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE members CHARLES SPEARIN and OHAD BENCHETRIT (aka YEARS) will open with their own unique and experimental solo material on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Monday evening's show is a triple-header, featuring opening sets from both YEARS and SPEARIN'S HAPPINESS PROJECT, before culminating in a full DMST performance.

The Phoenix Concert Theatre plays host to HOLIDAY JAM, an all-acoustic benefit show for the SickKids Foundation that will feature a diverse array of musicians, performers and other surprise guests including KATHLEEN EDWARDS, SAM ROBERTS and SARAH HARMER. Established in 1972, the SickKids Foundation seeks funding for children's health research, education and care. Previous Holiday Jam events have featured appearances from THE TRAGICALLY HIP's GORD DOWNIE, BUCK 65, MATT MAYS and many more.
