Roald Dahl film festival

There's a free Roald Dahl film fest in Toronto next month

If you grew up trying to make objects fly around your room and were always on the lookout for people with blue saliva then this Toronto film festival is for you. That's right, in order to keep you calm, cool and collected until the BFG comes out on July 1, Toronto's Carlton Cinemas is hosting a Roald Dahl film festival on June 18 and 19.

The lineup for this early summer fest includes Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Dahl co-wrote the screenplay) and Fantastic Mr. Fox on June 18 and Matilda and The Witches on June 19. Tickets to each movie are free, however, the Carlton will be accepting donations to the Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund.

And if you want even more Dahl, Matilda The Musical is coming to the Ed Mirvish Theatre starting on July 5.
