Toronto After Dark launch party this Thursday

The buzz is already reaching critical levels for Toronto's newest film festival, Toronto After Dark, which makes its bow next month with a terrific lineup of fantasy, science fiction, and horror movies. (As soon as I heard the idea for this festival, my first response was "Why did nobody think of this before?")

The fest gets swinging, though, with a kickoff party this Thursday night to announce the complete festival programme and get Toronto filmgoers into an appropriately freaky mood. The party's at the Bovine Sex Club (where else?) with the doors opening at 9, and entry will set you back a cool ten bucks. Well worth it, though, to get the sneak peek at what the After Darkers have up their sleeves.
