Canadian Filmmakers Festival

The CFF starts tonight, showcasing the docs, dramas and shorts of Canadian filmmakers.

I'm headed to the opening screening tonight at the Varsity. The other films are showing at the Carlton - check out the schedule to see if you can make any of the screenings - there are links to brief synopses of the films on the site.

Tickets are 9$, 10 if you come to the opening tonight. I'll post reviews of the flicks I catch over the next couple of days - you might want to forgo the latest rom-com and check it out too.

(There's also a panel discussion today and Saturday).
