HOGTOWN: The Politics of Policing


Perhaps one of the more important documentaries for Torontonians making its World Premiere at Hot Docs this year HOGTOWN: The Politics of Policing.

Written and Directed by Min Sook Lee, the doc chronicles 6 months in and out of meetings of the Toronto Polices Services Board, the scandal and drama that rocked the city last year.

For me to even attempt to summarize what the hour and a half reveals would be a complete disservice to this brilliant verite style doc. Every Torontonian should've known about and didn't. And in this case, we're to blame because many of us could care less about municipal politics. Everything that was reveal and situations that happened were all on public record. If only we had just shown up.
